Privacy policy
How we look after your personal information.
Last updated: October 2026
Who we are
Lucido Detailing is a trading name of Elanas Betevas, a sole trader based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us at info@lucidodetailing.co.uk or on 07526 117138.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through our website, by email, by WhatsApp or by phone, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, postcode or address, details of your vehicle, the service you're interested in, your preferred dates and anything else you choose to tell us.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and give you a quote
- To arrange, carry out and follow up on the work you book
- To keep the records we need for accounting and tax
We will not sell your information or use it for marketing without your permission.
Our lawful basis
We use your information to take steps at your request before entering into a contract and to perform that contract, to meet our legal obligations (for example, keeping financial records), and for our legitimate interests in running and improving our business.
Who we share it with
We use trusted providers to run our business, who handle data on our behalf: our website host (IONOS), our email provider (Google Workspace) and, if you choose to contact us that way, WhatsApp. Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers. We only share information where it's needed and never sell it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Records of work we carry out are kept for as long as we need them for accounting and tax purposes, usually six years.
Cookies
Our website does not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to ask us to transfer it. Contact us using the details above and we'll respond within one month.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
